Our mission is to enable Future Care Now by raising funds that accelerate cancer research, education and clinical care benefiting patients at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, across Canada, and around the world.
About This Cause
The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation raises funds benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world, and Canada’s largest cancer treatment centre. We are home to many of the world’s most successful cancer research discoveries, including the stem cell and the T-cell receptor. Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and the funds raised each year enable our team to drive cancer discovery forward, fuel advancements in cancer care and share innovations globally. All funds raised by our generous donors go primarily towards the many groundbreaking initiatives of our 1,300 researchers and research staff. Their work is critical in our “bench to bedside” approach, which allows us to conduct lab research, lead clinical trials, and set the bar when it comes to global standards of care.
