About This Cause
We are a global community of dedicated volunteers, creating opportunities for all ages to experience the excitement and enrichment of cultural diversity through our educational programs. We are founded on our belief that peace is possible through friendship – and that the real difference can be made by starting with children. Founded over 60 years ago, CISV is a global movement dedicated to educating and inspiring action for peace. We believe that we can help change the world by providing life-changing experiences and building friendships that last a lifetime. We offer an exciting blend of educational programs and amazing volunteer opportunities for the young and the young at heart. Our fun, ‘learning by doing’ programs begin with our original Village, a four-week residential camp for 11-year-olds. Our values: Friendship Inclusiveness Enthusiasm Engagement Cooperation
