Mission Statement
The mission of the RTA Parent Association is to foster the well-being and effectiveness of our school community in order to enhance student learning.
About This Cause
RT Alderman School is an inquiry based program that uses a science lens to teach the Alberta Program of Studies. Students at our school engage in the study of the natural world in the schoolyard and their community and participate in field trips to enhance science topics and inquiries. Students also take part in enriching science opportunities such as Calgary Youth Science Fair and Science Olympics. The role of the RT Alderman Parent Association is to support our students in developing the science-related attitudes, skills and knowledge needed to solve problems and reinforce their sense of wonder about the world around them.
