Mission Statement
The Growing Together Child Care Centre partners with the community in providing child care, education, health information and other support for young families returning to school in the Cowichan Valley.
About This Cause
To provide a holistic supportive program which will enable parents to complete their basic education and to facilitate growth as community so that all participants have a sense of belonging and well being. To provide support and education in parenting, life skills training, career preparation, home management as well as assistance in times of crisis. To provide information and advocacy. To encourage celebrations, recreation and 'dreaming'. To provide health information and create an environment and program which models balanced healthy lifestyles. To endeavour to meet the individual needs of parents and their children.
