Mission Statement
Vita Centre is dedicated to providing excellent support, education and counselling to vulnerable families, including pregnant and parenting youth, with the goal of empowering them to move forward and thrive.
About This Cause
Vita Centre is a registered charity that offers: - Education – parenting and life skills workshops in the community to strengthen the bond between parent and child. -One-to-one counselling – at our Centre and as outreach -Public education and awareness through public speaking events and on various Peel Region committees. Vita Centre is proud of its accomplishments in offering the supports and tools needed to enable vulnerable families who are living in poverty to turn their lives around. 2021 marked Vita Centre's 30th anniversary. For the Vita family, it has been over 30 years of providing assistance in the form of counselling, community resources, and education to vulnerable parents -- and throughout this, we have only grown. The programs offered by Vita Centre allow vulnerable parents who might otherwise be isolated to experience an environment of support and encouragement, as well as a place of belonging. Our programs include counselling, parenting resources and educational programs to help clients blossom into confident and responsible parents. Healthy and strong families are the cornerstone in achieving healthy and strong communities. Therefore, our commitment is to invest even more in the lives of vulnerable families.
