To provide a facility that affords opportunities for cultural, educational, recreational & social development for residents of Beverly Towne.
About This Cause
Vision: We envision the ARC as a safe & healthy presence that fosters a strong sense of community. The Abbottsfield Recreation Centre Society is a dedicated group of volunteers who recognized the need for a facility that would be available to the community for free/low cost programs. Since 1993 we have formed partnerships with many community organizations including the Candora Society, Beverly Towne Community Development Society and more. Through the various agencies and groups, programming is provided 5 days a week, usually from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. ARC provides, administer and maintain a multi-use facility for the residents of North East Edmonton that allows access to recreational, cultural, educational, and social activities.
