About This Cause
Since 1994 Metis Calgary Family Services, Support families, children and youth in a wholistic cultural way within the city of Calgary and southern Alberta by providing resources, referrals, parenting, housing, youth programming, childcare, Elders support, language, culture and family preservation with the urban Indigenous community. For over 3 decades Metis Calgary Family Services remains a successful leader in the Human , Early Childhood Education and social services field working from a urban Indigenous strength-based wholistic practice with a focus on historical sacred teachings and traditions. Providing Safe and affordable Indigenous supportive and affordable housing Aboriginal, non profit organization, non political, reflective of our urban Indigenous community - a registered charity with a volunteer governance board, Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services 20 years, qualified and certified staff and an authentic and validated cultural foundation.
