About This Cause
Under the School Act, a parent society is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. Our Parent Society raises funds for many things that enrich the school experience for Riverbend students, including: Software & Technology, Bus transportation for field trips and swimming lessons, Learning garden improvement and insurance, School events like the Halloween Dance, Welcome Back BBQ, Year End Raccoona, and Special class project supplies. We are also losing our original playground in Summer 2020 and we need to raise funds to replace that important school and community resource.
