About This Cause
Incorporated in 1988, the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre is a non-profit organization that provides essential social services and support to vulnerable individuals and families residing in Ottawa's Ward 13, one of the poorest ridings in the country. Our range of services includes access to food and clothing banks, community meals, crisis intervention, and programs for youth, seniors, and children. Our core mission is to tackle food insecurity, promote access to nutritious food, and strengthen our community's social infrastructure. We firmly believe that access to healthy food and essential resources is a basic human right and strive to provide all residents with the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives.
