Our Mission The Langdon Community Associations mission is to provide places and recreation opportunities for all people to gather, celebrate, and engage in activities that promote health, well-being, community and the environment. Our Vision The Vision of the Langdon Community Association is a community where everyone has the opportunity to belong, to be active, to be healthy and to participate.

Welcome to the Langdon Community Association Charity Site! We're dedicated to fostering a vibrant and connected community in Langdon and the surrounding area. Here's a glimpse into the programs and services we offer: Langdon Fieldhouse: Our versatile event venue is perfect for weddings, meetings, and community group activities. With amenities like a commercial kitchen and ample seating, it's the ideal setting for gatherings of all kinds. Qualico Resource Centre: A community hub housing the Langdon Community Library and Synergy's youth center, providing resources and activities for residents of all ages. It's also a flexible meeting space for workshops, events, and group activities. Connection Courts: Our sports facilities include basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts, as well as rebound walls for skill development. These courts promote physical activity and friendly competition among community members. Gathering Gardens: Tranquil outdoor spaces with picnic tables and fire pits, perfect for relaxation and socializing. It's a serene environment for community members to connect and enjoy nature. Outdoor Rink: Our volunteer-maintained ice skating rink provides free access to community members during the winter months. It's a gathering place for families and friends to enjoy outdoor activities together. Langdon Days Festival: An annual celebration featuring parades, car shows, and market stalls. It fosters community spirit and strengthens bonds among residents through shared experiences and festivities. Bingo Night: Traditional bingo games hosted at the Langdon Fieldhouse, offering a fun and affordable activity for community members to enjoy. It provides an opportunity for socializing and friendly competition. Christmas Market and Santa's Workshop: Holiday events organized in collaboration with local partners, offering opportunities for families to shop, donate, and participate in festive activities. It spreads holiday cheer and promotes community giving. Easter Egg Hunt: A cherished community tradition bringing residents together to celebrate springtime and unity. It offers children and adults alike a chance to enjoy outdoor activities and create lasting memories with neighbors. Hobby Days: Weekend events dedicated to indulging in personal hobbies and interests, providing a supportive environment for creativity and relaxation. It encourages community members to pursue their passions and connect with like-minded individuals. Collaborative Meetings: We regularly convene with collaborative groups, interagency groups, and other community stakeholders to discuss programming, services, and projects benefiting Langdon and the surrounding area. These meetings facilitate coordination, planning, and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life for residents.
