▍Summary
"Sprouting Dream" initiative aims at nurturing the hopes and dreams of underprivileged children across Taiwan. With a focus on comprehensive development, this project targets the improvement of children's lives through educational support, empowerment programs, and family assistance. By fostering a supportive community and enhancing access to resources, we aim to create a sustainable impact that empowers children to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

▍Challenge
In Taiwan, tens of thousands of children hailing from disadvantaged backgrounds confront significant hurdles in their pursuit of education, health, and personal growth. Their development and prospects are hindered by economic hardship, single-parent families, and lack of access to educational resources. These children are at risk of falling behind in their studies, experiencing emotional distress, and missing out on opportunities that could change their lives for the better

▍Solution
Our project takes a multi-faceted approach: (1) Health and Education Support provides daily necessities, health check-ups, and educational materials to alleviate financial burdens for children. (2) Empowerment Programs offer workshops and camps for self-esteem, skills development, and career guidance to prepare children for a successful future. (3) Family Assistance extends support to crisis-affected families through emergency relief funds, parenting workshops, and community activities

▍Long-Term Impact
This project aspires to create lasting changes by (1)ensuring that over 6,000 children receive the education and skills necessary to break the cycle of poverty; (2)empowering families to support their children's growth and development, thereby strengthening community ties; (3)building a network of support that not only aids immediate needs but also lays the foundation for the children's future success. Every child's dream deserves to sprout and soar. Let's make their dreams take flight.

▍How to Sponsor a Child
To Sponsor a Child Through Benevity, Please Follow These Steps Carefully:

1. Donation Requirement: As a child sponsor, you must be able to donate monthly. If you prefer to prepay the sponsorship fee for a year, please complete the donation first, then send us an email at service@mustard.org.tw to arrange this.

2. Donation Amount: Set your monthly donation amount to $35 USD.

3. Confirmation Message: After setting up your donation, please send us a confirmation email at service@mustard.org.tw. In your email, clearly mention your intention to sponsor a child, including any specific preferences or requests you may have regarding the sponsorship.

4. Sponsor Confirmation: Once we receive your monthly payment information and your confirmation email, you will officially become a sponsor. We will provide you with the following:

▸Sponsor Welcome Pack: This includes relevant information about the child, a letter of introduction from the child, and guidelines for sponsors.
▸Child Annual Report: You will receive an annual report detailing the child's growth and development each July-August.
▸Child's Christmas/New Year Card: At the end of each year, you will receive a Christmas or New Year card written to you by the sponsored child.

▍Reminder
If you need a Taiwan tax-deductible donation receipt, please email us at service@mustard.org.tw and include the following information:

1.Taiwan donation receipt required
2.Your full name, email, and address (donation receipt will be emailed preferentially)
3.If you need The Mustard Seed Mission to upload the donation information to Taiwan’s National Taxation Bureau, please provide your Taiwan ID number as well.

For each donation, only one receipt can be issued, and the same donation cannot be issued under different donor names. The receipt you receive will exclude the Matching Grant donation amount. Additionally, due to currency exchange and bank processing fees, The Mustard Seed Mission will provide a donation receipt reflecting the final amount received in TWD. 1.說明需台灣捐款收據 (Taiwan donation receipt required)
2.留下您的收據資料，包含收據抬頭、Email、收件地址等（將優先提供電子收據）
3.若您需要芥菜種會將捐款資料上傳至國稅局，請一併提供您的身分證字號。（日後當您申報減除捐贈扣除額時，免再檢具紙本捐款收據，即可完成申報。）

基於責信，每筆捐款只能開立一張收據，同筆捐款不得重複開立不同捐款人名稱。有關您的收據金額，將不包含企業相對捐的部分，且因有匯差及銀行手續費等影響，芥菜種會需依扣除後之實際台幣金額，列為您的捐款收據金額。若有任何問題，請來信：service@mustard.org.tw
