Leopard Cat Association of Taiwan

Miaoli City, Miaoli, 360 Taiwan

Mission Statement

Leopard Cat Association of Taiwan was established in October 2017 with the call for society to love the leopard cat. Through habitat conservation, individual rescue and rehabilitation, environmental education, policy advocacy, ecological research, and civic engagement, the association aims to protect the leopard cat and its habitat, thereby safeguarding the living environment for the public.

About This Cause

Founded on October 8, 2017, through the efforts of Dr.Mei-ting Chen, also known as the "mom of leopard cats" in Taiwan, and many friends who care about leopard cats, the Leopard Cat Association of Taiwan is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting wild leopard cat conservation. The association actively advocates for the conservation and research of the endangered national first-class protected species, the leopard cat, in Taiwan. We hope to enhance public awareness and concern for the leopard cat, calling on people to join efforts in leopard cat conservation. Additionally, the association aims to share research experiences related to these small cats (felidae) - the leopard cats - through international exchanges and collaborations with other Asian countries in the future.
