We seek harmony between people and nature, honoring ancestral values and fostering sustainable development for thriving communities and ecosystems.

About This Cause

Fundación Montecito Established: June 5, 2010 Registered nonprofit in Colombia Fundación Montecito is a private nonprofit created by Felipe Velasco and Juanita Arango, dedicated to protecting high-Andean ecosystems like Lake Tota and La Hondura Canyon. We work through three pillars—governance, environmental culture, and sustainable tourism—combining science, education, and community values to foster territorial sustainability.
