Mission Statement
We will make possible the restoration of at least 100,000 hectares in the Colombian Amazon by 2030. We will achieve this by working hand in hand with local communities and implementing a science-based approach to restoration.
About This Cause
Amazonía Emprende - Forest School is a 30-hectare laboratory, located in the city of Florencia (Colombia), where we design, pilot and document nature-based solutions that make possible the restoration of the Amazon ecosystem. We share this knowledge with communities and local leaders, as well as public and private sector decision makers who are part of restoration processes. More than 600 people have joined the bootcamps that take place at the Forest School and are now part of a community that not only understands the importance of the Amazon biome for humanity but also has the criteria to make informed decisions about its restoration and conservation.
