Mission Statement
1 - Name – Current legal status : L'Appel is a non profit laïc association involved in international solidarity actions, working under the french law of 1st July 1901. 2 –Objectives L'Appelhttps://mobile.twitter.com/LAPPEL_asso objectives are : • To take care of international “needs“ in the fields of: health, education and social welfare through direct or partnership actions in favor of distressed children, their families and their communities. • To develop these actions in association with local partners with the agreement of local authorities of third world countries. • To launch or participate to sustainable development actions in the areas of health, education, water supply and improvement of living conditions. • To grant financial assistance, on an individual or collective basis, to children and teenagers for their schooling or professional training. • To promote individual training and skill development actions in countries of the south hemisphere either locally or by the way of internships in France or any other country when appropriate. 3 - Means of actions: • They are mainly provided by volunteers • APPEL can open branches in France, or if necessary abroad, but the same rules will be applicable and they will not be allowed to stand as distinct corporate enti-ties. Financial means: The association is financed by: • Private donations of its members and donors • Legacies, pledge donations and assets disposal • Public funding • Corporate or foundation sponsorship • Fundraising through exhibitions, concerts, charity diners, etc. • And more generally, by any means approved by the trustees board.
