Mission Statement
As an independent Franciscan relief organization, we support a large number of social projects in the poorest regions of the world. As different as the challenges are, the goal is clear: the sustainable improvement of the living conditions of people in need. We do this directly on site and thanks to the willingness of thousands of donors to help. For our help, we do not need cost-intensive logistics on site, but can fall back on our worldwide Franciscan network. Franciscans live and work directly with the people.
About This Cause
We work to ensure that wells, kindergartens, schools, training centers and hospitals are built and equipped. We help ensure that the basic needs of many people, such as food, health, education and human rights, are met. In disaster and refugee aid, we ensure that affected people receive life-saving help quickly and unbureaucratically. As in the last two years during the Corona crisis or currently during the war in Ukraine. Our relief organization also supports those Franciscans at home and abroad who give a voice to the voiceless.
