Mission Statement

Tor helps people from totalitarian states with censored Internet to access the Internet anonymously and uncensored. It is estimated to have more than two million *daily* users. Tor needs people to share their bandwidth and run relays and "exit nodes" (you can help, too!). Torservers.net will use the money donated to run high bandwidth Tor exit nodes. Thanks to your help, we now run nodes at more than five GBit/s! Please help us to keep them up.

About This Cause

Torservers.net is an umbrella organization consisting of more than 10 charitable non-profits spread across 10 countries. Each of these organizations maintain high-capacity Tor exit relays. Tor is free software and an open network that helps you defend against traffic analysis, a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security. Tor hides your current location from the websites you visit and stops eavesdroppers from learning which sites you access, and advertisement networks from tracking you.
