About This Cause
扎根香港70年，香港明愛由一個以救濟為主的福利機構，發展成今天擁有超過270個服務單位的多元化志願團體，在全港約150個地點為市民提供人生不同階段所需的服務，涵蓋社會工作、教育、醫療護理等範圍。 「以愛服務 締造希望」 ― 明愛致力建立一個跨代共融、長幼傷健一家親的關愛社會。面對社會變遷和時代的種種挑戰下，明愛不斷優化服務，攜手同心，讓服務受眾活出豐盛人生。 Established in Hong Kong for 70 years, Caritas has evolved from an emergency relief welfare agency to a multi-service agency catering for the needs of people from “womb to tomb” by providing social work, education and medical services through over 270 service units from about 150 locations. Upholding the belief of “Love in the service of hope”, Caritas aims at overcoming divisions among human beings and building a caring society where all people, regardless of age or disability, are valued. Facing up to the social changes and challenges of time, Caritas will continue to improve its services to meet the needs of the public and work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to enable the poor and the needy to live a rich and dignified life.
