About This Cause
Acharya Shri Atmaram Jain Dharmarth Samiti Acharya Shri Atmaram Jain Dharmarth Samiti was founded by the visionary saint Yuvapragya Dr. Suvrat Muni Ji Maharaj with the blessings of Jain Saint Uttar Bhartiya Pravartak Bhandari Shri Padam Chand Ji Maharaj, spent his life spreading the message of love, peace, and harmony across the nation. His motto, "Live and Let Live," guides our efforts to ensure that education, vocational skill; Health Service & Help are accessible to all. Guru Padam Jain Prashikshan Kendra Community Centre, Old Slum Flats, Paschim Puri Chowk, New Delhi- 110063 As an accredited vocational institution under the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, our primary focus is to provide education and skill development to the underprivileged sections of society. When we initiated our journey in 1996-97, during a literacy campaign in Madipur, we discovered a harsh reality: many young boys and girls in this area were struggling, neither fully educated nor equipped with employable skills. This left them vulnerable, without proper guidance or opportunities to succeed in life. The educational landscape in the Madipur JJ Colony, Slum Flats, and Janta Flats was dire, and it became evident that urgent action was required to address these gaps. Empowering Women through Education One of the key areas we focus on is women’s empowerment. Educating women has a ripple effect—when women are educated and gainfully employed, their families and communities thrive. By providing functionally literate women with vocational skills, we are helping them unlock new opportunities for economic independence. This not only enhances their self-worth but also contributes to the overall betterment of society. Every year approximately 250 students avail the benefit of our courses. Shri Amar Muni Jain Chikitsa Kendra In the slum areas of Madipur JJ Colony, Slum Flats, and Janta Flats, many individuals face severe healthcare challenges. These communities often lack access to basic medical facilities, and the financial burden of healthcare leaves many untreated and vulnerable. During our literacy campaigns and vocational training programs, it became clear that education alone is not enough—healthcare plays a crucial role in the well-being and success of individuals, especially those from economically weaker sections. We are providing Healthcare service at below two locations. 1. Samudaye Bhavan, Shivangi Kunj(BG-1, Opp. Paschim Vihar), Delhi – 110063 Here a mini hospital is being run where eye OPD, Eye Cataract Operation Theater, Dental & Homeopathy services are available. Everyday 25-30 patients of eye OPD, 15-20 patient of dental OPD and 10-15 patient of Homeopathy OPD took benefit. We have done more than 3500 cataract operation. 2. Basti Vikas Kendra, Road No. 33, Punjabi Bagh Extension, Paschim Puri (Opp. Petrol Pump), New Delhi – 110026 Here we provide healthcare service through Eye OPD, Dental & Physiotherapy service. Everyday 5-10 patients of eye OPD, 5-10 patient of dental OPD and 5-10 patient of physiotherapy OPD took benefit. Note: Building of above three locations is provided by Delhi Government on Lease. Help: In a fast-paced world where inequality and poverty persist, helping others is not just a moral responsibility—it is a necessity. We saw firsthand that these communities were in dire need of support systems that could help them rise above their circumstances. Thus, our mission of HELP was born, extending our services beyond education and healthcare to cover a broad range of social assistance programs. Below is our approach to Help. • Financial Assistance • Emergency Support • Vocational Training and Employment Support • Mental Health and Counseling Services • Community Development Projects There are many ways you can join our cause and make a difference.
