Mission Statement
We are the like-minded people leading with community development through an organizing body. Community development begins through leadership development of qualified young adults. It means we take a specific approach to what we do, going beyond our involvement in the lives of people, including both children and their families. Uppahar is a young charitable registered association since March 2001. Its purpose is to support various development projects and the education, sanitary, social, medical and socio-emotional work of the Uppahar organization in India.
About This Cause
t is my joy to introduce "Utilise People's Potential Action for Humanities And Research" (UPPAHAR). "Utilise People's Potential Action for Humanities and Research" (UPPAHAR) is a Charitable and Nonprofit organization. It started with a vision of creating a safe and supportive environment for the people and groups in its target region; it provides a perfect balance in academics and sports while giving cultural, creative and social opportunities in the field of community development. Its foundation is to build every individual to be an ultimate and responsible citizen of India. The work of Uppahar in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Tamil Nadu and other states of India was set up by Dr. Rajat Kumar Pani and a few other likeminded young men and women with the same vision. A network developed of building relationships with nationals and people in other countries to mobilize resources to support the work financially, as well as with innovative ideas, practical assistance and personal visits on-site. UPPAHAR – INDIA supports many different development programs: 1. Educational Field: Uppahar Student Care Centers (USCC) and Tutoring Centers (TC) 2. Socio-Emotional Field: Hostels for the Marginalized Children's, Sanitation, Sustainable Training Program for young men and women, Sheep/Goat Rearing Program to strengthen widows in the communities, Women Empowerment, Against Child Marriage, Organization of Lok Adalat, Swachh Bharat, Tie-up with Government and Non-Government Organizations and Improvement of the Hrudai Childcare Project. 3. Medical Field: Free Health Camps, Love with Action program for HIV/AIDs infected victims, Blood Donation etc.
