Mission Statement
Satyam Sumiran Yoga Research Foundation (SSYRF) is a seva oriented organization dedicated towards empowering individuals in particular and the society in general. This is achieved by a scientific, systematic and practical incorporation of yogic principles as expounded by Swami Sivananda Saraswati and Swami Satyananda Sarswati.
About This Cause
Satyam Sumiran Yoga Research Foundation undertakes welfare activities in the following areas: Yoga - application of yogic principles for wellness in the body as well as the mind, for enhancing creativity, confidence and abilities amongst all - children, adults, elderly Wellness - undertakes medical camps, workshops, clinics for the underprivileged, poor and needy. Those needing secondary and tertiary care are taken to appropriate centres for further treatment including interventions such as surgeries and rehabilitation . We also undertake eye camps, cataract and other surgeries. Education - undertakes value based education amongst the children to improve their grasp, understanding, processing skills as well as to improve their communication, interpersonal and social skills. Special attention is given towards emotional growth, stabilty and resilience, thus providing them an opportunity for a stable, balanced personality growth and development. Skills - undertake activities to promote skills development especially empowering them to earn a decent livelihood and a strong foundation for career development. Ecology - undertake various activities for preserving, promoting and nurturing ecology and all its components. Farming - undertake projects to educate, empower and support marginalized farmers and to make them self-sufficient and prosperous using natural, organic and ecologically friendly means.
