Mission Statement

Our mission is to bring transformative change and growth to the lives of those in need, particularly abandoned, surrendered, and orphaned children. Through dedicated programs and unwavering commitment, we aim to rescue, nurture, and provide a loving environment for these children. We believe in the power of education and child protection as catalysts for positive change. By adhering to government guidelines and working in close collaboration with Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), we facilitate the adoption process, ensuring that every child finds a secure, caring, and supportive family. Our approach encompasses a life cycle perspective, addressing the evolving needs of each child from infancy to adulthood. Together, we aspire to create a sustainable legacy of hope, love, and opportunity for the children we serve.

About This Cause

Miracle Charitable Society (MCS) is a registered Non Profit organization that has been working towards the holistic development of children in Faridabad, Haryana since its establishment in 2006. With a focus on education and child protection, MCS aims to empower and transform the lives of underprivileged individuals, enabling them to reach their maximum potential. Currently, MCS covers 5 slums and resettlement colonies, providing various programs and services to more than 2-300 children directly associated with the organization. Current Areas of Focus for The Society: MCS serves as the only Adoption Agency in and around Faridabad catering to a population of over 2 million people. Approved by the State Government of Haryana and recognized as a Specialized Adoption Agency, MCS provides the opportunity for single parents or parents with children to adopt and offer a loving and caring family to a child. The agency operates in full compliance with the guidelines issued by the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) and the Indian Central Government. Additionally, Miracle Charitable Society has been granted a license by the Women and Child Development Department of Haryana (License No. 014/MV/JJ Act/2023) to operate as an agency. The license meets the standards set by the Juvenile Justice Care & Protection of Children Act of 2015. MCS takes responsibility for the care, protection, and overall well-being of each child under its charge, providing essential services related to health, education, and development. Child Abandonment and Rescue Efforts: India faces the issue of child abandonment, with an estimated 11 million children currently without a home, of which 90 percent are girls. Families abandon children due to various reasons, including victims of rape, unmarried mothers fearing retaliation, financial constraints, or gender preference. Miracle Charitable Society plays a vital role in rescuing abandoned infants, often finding them in critical conditions in public places. The society's ChildLine team and volunteers work diligently to bring these children to the center, providing immediate medical attention, nutrition, and care to stabilize their health. Accomplishments: Since its establishment in 2015, Miracle Charitable Society has successfully rescued and saved the lives of over 250 babies. Through the approved adoption process established by the Indian Government, the society has found loving and caring families for these children. MCS has also contributed significantly to the development of adoption guidelines through professional consultation and feedback to the Government. The society has facilitated successful in-country and inter-country adoptions, following the guidelines set by CARA. Additionally, MCS has played a role in reuniting children with their biological parents, adhering to the regulations of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). Current Statistics and Future Plans: Currently, Miracle Charitable Society is providing care for 70 children, ranging in age from newborns to 11 years. The society remains committed to fulfilling their needs, including emotional support necessary for their well-being at this stage of their lives. As part of future plans, MCS aims to build a new 50-bed adoption center with improved neo- and post-natal facilities. This center will also cater to unmarried mothers who can give birth under the care of MCS. Additionally, the society intends to expand its services to welcome children aged 6 to 18 and those with special needs. Miracle Charitable Society is dedicated to providing all children under its care with the necessary love and support as they patiently wait for a loving family. Appeal for Support: Mrs. Simran Lamba, the Director of Miracle Charitable Society, extends a heartfelt appeal for support and partnerships in any form. The society relies on the generosity of individuals and organizations to continue its important work in transforming the lives of abandoned, orphaned, and surrendered babies, as well as pregnant women in need. Donations play a crucial role in providing essential vaccinations, nutritional support, and safe shelter for these vulnerable individuals.
