Our mission is to empower the community through education, awareness, and skill development. We focus on initiatives such as the Computer Shaksharate mission, providing technical education, promoting women’s rights, raising awareness against child labor, and implementing environmentally friendly programs. By offering need-based, value-driven, and career-oriented programs, we aim to shape well-rounded individuals equipped to contribute positively to society.
About This Cause
Wagh Educational Foundation is working in the grass root level. It is Regd. Under Govt. Of Karnataka Reg. No. – DRZ/594/2017-18, E- Max Certified Organization Reg No. EZX/EK15726, An ISO 9001:2015 Reg No : 20CN98991302QM. This NGO is basically working in the field of Education, Health, Environment Protection, Vocational training for rural youths, Education for children various community development programs and actions for growing quality food etc. Wagh Educational Foundation to the youths and all by considering the necessity of Computer Education in daily life. Our Institute is also having another unit of computer Education. Through which we are providing Computer Training & Computer Sales & services to the Youths, especially for those who are interested for self Employing. Here's a concise summary of Wagh Educational Foundation's initiatives: ### Wagh Educational Foundation Overview **Mission:** To bridge the digital divide, provide technical education, advocate for women's rights, and promote environmental sustainability. ### Key Initiatives: 1. **Child Labor Project:** - Operates 12 National Child Labour Program centers in Dharwad, supporting 600 children (ages 9-14) from urban slums. - Provides formal education, skill development, and essential resources. - Offers mid-day meals and financial stipends managed by Equitas Small Finance Bank. 2. **Educational Support:** - Distributes school supplies and improves infrastructure for better learning environments in local communities. 3. **Gender Sensitization:** - Conducts awareness programs to promote gender equality and discourage discrimination against girls, reaching over 389 participants. 4. **Women Empowerment:** - Runs an employability center offering healthcare counseling and skill development, benefiting approximately 18,000 women and girls. 5. **Skill Development for Disabled:** - Provides vocational training for 100 disabled individuals to enhance employment opportunities. 6. **Computer Education:** - Trains over 160 women and girls in computer skills and English proficiency to improve their employability and confidence. ### Objective: To uplift underprivileged children and women, ensuring holistic development and fostering a more equitable society.
