Who We Are Gurgaon Gramin Mahila Mandal (GGMM), widely known by its community-facing identity ASMII, is a grassroots nonprofit organization working across 400+ villages in Haryana, India. Founded in 1998 and formally registered in 2005, we are dedicated to empowering rural women, adolescent girls, and underserved communities through a comprehensive model of education, skills training, financial literacy, and mental wellness. Rooted in trust and guided by Gandhian values, ASMII has impacted over 100,000 lives through programs designed to build dignity, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods. Our Programs & Impact Holistic Awareness (Empower Her) We conduct focused, village-level awareness camps on critical issues like women’s safety, hygiene, menstrual health, legal rights, digital inclusion, and government schemes—reaching 2,000+ women across 20 villages annually. Vocational Training & Livelihoods Our integrated programs—such as the Digital Financial Vocational Program (DFIVP) and Mental Health Integrated Vocational Program (MHIVP)—equip 400+ women per year with skills in tailoring, textile printing, digital literacy, and emotional well-being. Mental Health & Menstrual Wellness Swasthya Shakti is our new focus where we plan to deliver counseling, group therapy, and hygiene kit distribution. So far, we've conducted 100+ mental and menstrual health camps in collaboration with hospitals, foundations, and schools. Non-Formal Education (Paathshaala) ASMII’s education centers provide learning support to 100+ out-of-school and migrant children annually, helping them reintegrate into formal schooling. Adolescent Life Skills in Government Schools We run workshops in government schools that focus on emotional intelligence, peer pressure, decision-making, digital safety, and gender sensitivity—empowering the next generation of girls and boys. Self-Help Group (SHG) Support We build financial resilience and collective voice through SHG capacity-building, impacting 300+ women with financial literacy, savings, and micro-entrepreneurship skills. Technological Advancement for Communities Our expert-led masterclasses and digital learning tools support scalable, open-access education in rural regions.
