Mission Statement

Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha is a Non profit Organization, we aim to work in a rural and remote areas in a different sectors like, Education, Mentally Handicapped children's ,Health, Sanitation, Skilling, Sports, Scholarships, Self defense for girls, and many more. We are currently working in a rural and remote areas of Satara District, Maharashtra. and we are aiming to reach out to more districts in a future. We strive to restore the dignity of vulnerable populations by providing essential services such as skill development programs for youth and sustainable livelihoods for poor farmer families. At the heart of our work is a focus on inclusive development. We aim to support vulnerable groups such as elderly women by offering free-of-cost residential facilities through initiatives like the Jeevandhara Old Age Home. Here, we provide holistic care, including health services like free foot massage centers, ensuring that the elderly live with dignity and comfort. We are dedicated to creating a future where every individual, regardless of socio-economic status, has the tools and opportunities to thrive. Through our work, we strive to alleviate poverty, combat drought impacts, and contribute to building resilient communities capable of withstanding environmental and economic challenges. Through our mission, Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha envisions creating self-sustaining communities where every individual, regardless of their socio-economic background, has access to opportunities for personal and community development.

About This Cause

1. Sahas Matimand Mula-Mulinchi Niwasi Karyashala Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha is Committed to Providing Special Education, Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Services to Persons with Disability with a focus on the persons with intellectual disability. The Organization is working Sincerely to improve the quality of life of persons with Disabilities and their families & Society in the state of Maharashtra. Vocational Training is one of the most Important sessions in the Education of disabled children. Vocational Education aims to train students about the skill training, Concept of a job- and job-related functional academics. The Goal and Function of Vocational education for Students with disabilities is providing them with skills to secure employments Opportunities for Independents Living. It is the Specialized training and Practical grooming sessions for the children to excel in their fields of skill and interest. Our aim to become self-reliant through Vocational training and Rehabilitation and to empower people with Special Needs, through Income Generation. We Were excited about our Futures but these youth and their families had no hopes for their future through our work we got deep insights into the lives of intellectually challenged from low-income families. We Recognized that these young adults were in herently capable. They were quick to learn through imitation and possessed an untapped potential. They have very pleasing personalities and Positive attitude towards life despite the lack hope. Opportunities and helplessness of their Families. At Saahas Were Passionate about empowering individuals with the goal of securing stable long-term positions in the work force. For those facing more significant challenges in accessing mainstream employment. 2. Free Sanitary Kit Distribution to Girls Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha is working in rural and remote areas of Satara district of Maharashtra from the last 19 years. When we are talking about the health initiatives towards these areas. We are proving a Sanitary kit to a every girl on monthly basis, in the Jaoli, Patan, and Satara Taluka. The reason behind this program is, in those area students are going to school by walking nearly some kilometres. If any situation comes, then girls go back to home by walking. So, that’s the main reason to avoid this kind of situations and all can attend the school regularly. Currently, Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha is already working in Jaoli, Patan and Satara taluka in many schools regularly from June 2022. In these two years we are distributing sanitary kit to nearly more than 1000 girls in every month.By providing sustainable and safe hygiene solutions, we aim to create an environment where no girl has to compromise on her health or dignity. Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha has been working tirelessly for 19 years to bridge this gap by distributing free sanitary kits to girls in rural areas. This initiative not only provides them with essential hygiene products but also fosters education about menstrual health and hygiene, helping to reduce the stigma around menstruation. 3. Educational Scholarships Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha, working for the past 19 years in the rural and remote areas of Satara district, has been dedicated to empowering underprivileged yet hardworking students through its Educational Scholarship Program. In these regions, access to quality education is a challenge due to financial constraints, lack of resources, and limited opportunities. Many talented students are unable to pursue their academic dreams, despite their potential, because of the economic hardships faced by their families. Recognizing this critical need, the Sanstha provides scholarships to deserving students, helping them continue their education and build a brighter future. To date, over 1,000 students have benefited from this initiative, enabling them to overcome obstacles and achieve academic success. This program is essential to fostering equal opportunities for education and ensuring that no deserving student is left behind. 4. Competitions Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha, with a legacy of 19 years, has been dedicated to enhancing the educational and personal development of students in the rural and remote areas of the Satara district. To foster a spirit of hard work, courage, and self-belief among students, the organization organizes various competitions, including Running, Drawing, Book Reading, and Essay Competitions. These activities are designed to challenge the students' capabilities, push their limits, and encourage them to cultivate critical life skills such as discipline, creativity, and perseverance. In areas where access to quality education and extracurricular activities is limited, these competitions serve as vital platforms for children to express themselves, build confidence, and prepare for future challenges. The necessity of such initiatives lies in the need to bridge the gap between rural and urban education, ensuring that students from these areas have equal opportunities for personal growth and success. 5. Library Setups Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha has been dedicated to uplifting rural and remote communities in Satara district for the past 19 years. Recognizing the urgent need to enhance educational resources in these underserved areas, the organization has initiated the setup of libraries in schools and established competitive exam libraries in villages. These libraries aim to foster a culture of reading and self-learning among students, helping them develop critical thinking skills and broaden their knowledge. Given the limited access to quality educational material and guidance in these regions, the initiative is crucial for bridging the knowledge gap and empowering students to pursue higher education and competitive careers. The project addresses both the necessity of increasing knowledge and the need to install a habit of lifelong learning, ultimately contributing to the overall development of the community. 6. Self Defense Training Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha has been dedicated to the empowerment and upliftment of rural and remote communities in the Satara district for the past 19 years. Among its many initiatives, the Self-Defense Training project for students is pivotal in fostering resilience, confidence, and decision-making skills among young individuals, particularly girls. In these underserved areas, the necessity for such training is profound. Many students, especially girls, face challenges such as limited access to resources, societal constraints, and the heightened risk of harassment and abuse. By offering self-defense training, the organization is not only equipping students with the physical skills to protect themselves but also nurturing their ability to make quick, confident decisions in critical situations. This project goes beyond mere physical training—it instils a habit of self-awareness, self-reliance, and assertiveness that is essential for their overall development. In a region where opportunities for personal growth and empowerment are scarce, such training fills a crucial gap, ensuring that students, regardless of their background, can grow into empowered, independent individuals capable of navigating life's challenges with confidence and security. 7. Free Educational Kit Distribution Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha has been dedicated to improving educational access in rural and remote areas of Satara district for the past 19 years. Our flagship initiative, the Free Educational Kit Distribution Project, aims to provide essential learning materials to students who often lack the resources needed to pursue their education effectively. Through this initiative, we have successfully reached over 100 schools, impacting the lives of thousands of children. These kits, which include textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and other learning tools, not only help alleviate the financial burden on families but also foster a more inclusive learning environment, ensuring that every child, regardless of their economic background, has the opportunity to excel in their studies. Our ongoing efforts focus on expanding this reach further, with a vision to bridge the educational gap in underserved communities and empower the next generation with the tools they need to succeed. 8. Skill Development Program Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha, a well-established NGO dedicated to community development, is launching a Skill Development Program in Khatav Taluka, Satara District. Recognized for its drought-prone conditions, Khatav Taluka faces significant socio-economic challenges, particularly in education and employment opportunities. To address these challenges and empower the local youth, we are introducing free computer courses aimed at equipping students with essential digital skills. 9. Jeevandhara Women Old Age Home for Women Location: Khatav Taluka, Satara District (Drought-prone area) The Jeevandhara Old Age Home is an upcoming initiative by Siddharth Samajik Vikas Sanstha to provide a safe, caring, and free-of-cost home for elderly women in the drought-affected region of Khatav taluka. In a community where resources are scarce and support systems are often lacking, this project will serve as a refuge for women who are vulnerable and in need of care and companionship. Key Features: 1. Completely Free of Cost: The Jeevandhara Old Age Home will provide all facilities to its residents free of charge, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent elderly women from receiving the care they deserve. 2. Holistic Care and Well-being: Beyond providing shelter, food, and basic necessities, the home will focus on the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of its residents through various programs designed to improve their quality of life. 3. Foot Massage Center: To ensure the physical comfort and relaxation of its residents, the Jeevandhara Old Age Home will offer a free foot massage center. This unique program is aimed at promoting both physical and mental relaxation, providing therapeutic benefits, and enhancing the overall well-being of the elderly women.
