Mission Statement

Our mission and inspiration is well embodied in our guiding principle – “Rescue those being led away to death, Hold back those staggering towards slaughter. If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not He who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not He who guards your life know it? Will He not repay each person according to what he has done?” (Proverbs : 24 : 11-12) SEAL Ashram will rescue the destitute, missing people, the sick – physically and mentally, found on the Railway Platforms and Streets of Mumbai, regardless of their ethnic background, gender, age and severity of ailments, and offer them a home of hope and holistic care for their ailments. Objective: Rescue, Rehabilitate and Reunite maximum number of destitute from the Railway Platforms and Streets.

Till now we could reunite people in more than 17 states and still we have people from different states and we are waiting for them to come to a normal stage so that we can reunite them back their home soon. Happiness of reunification is our greatest reward in this world. We are working in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad District, Maharashtra but our services are helped to reunite people in more than 17 states in India. Detailed break up can be produced when it is required. We could give good education to our children, who are born here (pregnant ladies brought by Police) some are in College and others are in English Medium School. We could arrange marriages for our two girls whom we rescued at the age of 6 year and 7 years. They are settled and having children today. As a family they come home (SEAL) for delivery and periodic visits to their big family. Destitution is an ongoing disaster in a city like Mumbai it is more than any other place. (Destitute definition in our language is one who cannot feed, treat, help himself). SEAL operates amid emergency field, anchoring in the most emergency field of Rescue the perishing, Care for the dying. As a nation we need to give more significance to the field of rescuing the people from the streets and reunite them with the families. AWARDS & CERTIFICATIONS RECEIVED 1.
