Their ultimate aim is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and foster their full integration into society. • Early Intervention and Special Education: Udayam Charitable Trust (UCT) empowers children with disabilities through early intervention and special education. Their Early Intervention Centers (EICs) cater to young children with hearing impairment, while special schools provide comprehensive care for children with intellectual disabilities. UCT focuses on mainstreaming, health services, and collaboration with government and stakeholders. Early Intervention on Wheels offers tailored therapy, including sensory activities and speech therapy. Their commitment to holistic development empowers children to reach their full potential. • Early Intervention on Wheels : Udayam Charitable Trust's "Early Intervention on Wheels" program brings specialized care to children with severe intellectual disabilities in remote villages of Dindigul, Trichy, and Theni districts. By providing home-based training, physiotherapy, and other therapeutic services, the program empowers children with daily living skills, mobility, communication, and social interaction skills. This initiative also promotes inclusion by mainstreaming children into schools and connecting them with community resources.
