About This Cause
Prayoga has a vision to transform society by enhancing the utility and quality of learning through research. We are deeply committed to our nation-building mission and believe in the power of education to effect meaningful change. Amalgamating education research and social impact, Prayoga’s initiatives are actively reshaping science education for school students across all districts in Karnataka. Prayoga aims to enrich the educational experiences for both students and teachers, particularly in disadvantaged groups. 66 schools including 50 government schools in Karnataka, 3378 students, and 75 teachers are a part of this program. Our education research will be valuable in informing changes in pedagogy and education policies in the future. Prayoga's initiatives have been designed to have a lasting impact, resonating through time and contributing significantly to the development of our nation. transforming science learning in 66 schools through the Kriya program. 50 government schools in Karnataka are part of this long-term science education program. 3378 students and 75 teachers are a part of this program, experiencing science through Kriya. Researchers at Prayoga are also involved in scientific research under five themes: Green Chemistry, Advanced and Functional Materials, Earth Sciences, Food and agriculture, and Wellness. Prayoga provides opportunities for high-school students to participate in independent scientific research projects under the guidance of its science researchers. Students’ research work has positively impacted real-world problems, and their research articles have been published in peer-reviewed international journals. Prayoga disseminates awareness regarding pedagogies, leading to better teaching-learning methods for the student and teaching community at large. Prayoga also intends to make its resources open-source for a range of users.
