About This Cause
Named after the great poet & revolutionary Mahakavi Bharathiyar, we resonate with the intention of making this nation a better place in terms of people’s development and well-being. Keeping away from all divisions based on caste, creed and religion BWDC aims at bringing this dream come true. Working at the grass-root level in 3 districts of Tamilnadu, BWDC has positively impacted lives of over thousands of marginalized population through intervention in the areas of Community Mobilization, Women Empowerment, Education, Health, Water & Sanitation, Agriculture, Disaster Response, Mitigation and Preparedness, Livelihood Promotion and Capacity Building of CBOs & Communities thus enabling them to live a healthy and respectful life.
