About This Cause
Kokan Kala Va Shikshan Vikas Sanstha is an organization, established in 2010 mainly to help society live better in the form of educational and medical facilities. The organization got registered later in the year 2012 under the Society Act, 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. The organization helps underprivileged children and promotes education, village development, support for orphanages, disaster relief support and medical support for children with severe illnesses. Along with access to the national association of expertise, with a strong network of partnerships, we integrate internal knowledge to deliver broad-based outcomes to diverse stakeholders. Basically, the organization thematic areas are the following: • Educational Support Program • Orphanage Support Program • Medical Support Program • Disaster Relief Program • Village Development Program Kokan NGO’s thematic areas are aligned to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), covering social, economic and environmental aspects of sustainable development. Kokan NGO contributes in: SDG 1: No Poverty, 2: Zero Hunger, 3: Good Health and Well-being, 4: Quality Education, 5: Gender Equality, 6:Clean Water and Sanitation, 8: Decent work and economic growth, 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 13 Climate action and SDG 17: Partnerships and the Goals. The organization believes in working together because that leads to reaching more people through means of education, health facilities so that the underprivileged can have a better way of living. Skill development, Village Development, and education for children are our major areas of concentration.
