About This Cause
Mission and Vision: Aligning with SDG1, SDG4, SDG 5 and SDG8, NCT’s mission focuses on sustainable impacts by enabling the beneficiaries to become catalysts for change in their communities while eradicating poverty and inequalities. NCT’s sustainable impacts further emphasise creating positive changes in the lives of women and children from marginalised communities. About NewBeginnings Charitable Trust (NCT) NewBeginnings Charitable Trust (NCT), a distinguished Gold Seal Award recipient from GuideStar India, is dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged children through the power of education. Established on November 23, 2009, NCT is a registered, tax-exempt non-profit organization committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and addressing socio-economic disparities. We operate primarily in Andhra Pradesh, specifically in the western part of Kurnool district, a region part of the Rayalaseema grappling with persistent poverty and chronic droughts, focusing on empowering the most vulnerable communities with a strong emphasis on enhancing educational opportunities for impoverished children. Our initiatives have had a profound impact over the past years. NCT has successfully reintegrated 3279 school dropouts, provided educational sponsorships for more than 1000 children and trained more than 4000 women and adolescent girls in various employable skills training. Of the 4000 beneficiaries, 82% were employed. We are dedicated to tackling the root causes of educational barriers and are actively working towards a world where every child, regardless of their socio-economic status, has access to quality education. In the past two years, we have mainstreamed 3279 school dropouts, supported more than 1000 children with educational sponsorships, and trained more than 4000 women in employable skills, among other achievements.
