About This Cause
Sarthak has been working since 2008 for the empowerment of people with disability (PwDs) in India by following a life cycle approach. The key programs of Sarthak program includes: 1. Vocational Skill Building and Sustainable Employment opportunities for Persons with Disabilities. 2. Early Intervention Services for medical rehabilitation to Children with Special Needs . 3. Advocacy to sensitize the prime stakeholders of the disability sector . 4. Abilympics to represent India’s talent in skill competitions globally. Sarthak, In the last 12 years with geographic presence over 15 states in India is working to empower people with disabilities far and wide so they can live their life with dignity and respect. Through Sarthak initiatives, more than 20000 People with disabilities have been successfully working in leading corporate houses namely Accenture, IBM, Wipro, Microsoft, Walmart, Marriott International, IHG, Genpact, Capgemini, Amazon, and many more.
