Mission Statement
Isha Outreach, Isha’s social outreach initiative, implements several large-scale human service projects to support individual growth, revitalize the human spirit, rebuild communities, and restore the environment.
About This Cause
Isha Outreach includes several path-breaking environmental, educational, health and community revitalization efforts. Working primarily in Southern India, Isha Outreach has become an example of the transformation that human intention and effort can bring about. The programs are meticulously planned and manned mostly by over 2 Million Volunteers, offering their time and effort for their fellow human beings’ benefit. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ IMPORTANT NOTE TO DONORS Donations to Isha Outreach are used only for charitable purposes/projects that are among Isha Outreach’s existing programs or projects. If a donor donates to a project listed under Isha Outreach Benevity cause profile (e.g. Isha Agro Movement), the funds will only be used for that project. If a donor donates to the Isha Outreach cause profile itself, the funds will be deemed for General Use, in line with Benevity guidelines, and directed to the most urgent needs of the Isha Outreach’s projects as determined by the Isha Outreach. Donations to Isha Foundation’s programs and projects (e.g. Annadanam at Isha Yoga Centre, Sangamitra), must be donated to a separate cause in Benevity - Isha Foundation (Unique Identifier AAATI1053R). IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CAUVERY CALLING DONATIONS: Temporarily, the Cauvery Calling project is not listed on Isha Outreach, Indian entity.
