It also works in the fields of health and human services, education, women's empowerment, the environment, and humanitarian aid. Established in 1996, all trustees are involved in various enterprises and professions but also give their time to various initiatives in the urban slums. Chaitanya Charitable Trust is a Home Ministry Government of India-approved institution under Sections 12A, 80 G, CSR Form-1 and FCRA. Mission statement: “We seek to advance the lives of the poor and disadvantaged with programs that promote health and human services, education, slum development, and women’s empowerment to empower individuals to rise above their current situation.” Vision Statement: “To empower and lift up the lives of the poor and disadvantaged living in difficult circumstances, while emphasizing the dignity of each person and the right to equal opportunity through self-development.” Various initiatives are undertaken by CCT: 1. The Happy Children Center: The "Happy Children Center" Project is the first of its kind in Gujarat State, and maybe in India, offering multi-model systems of high-quality education, boosting females' enrollment in schools, and enhancing teaching standards in Jamnagar's slum region. The center's major mission is "Learning with Fun." 2. Protect Girls Project: Chaitanya Charitable Trust wishes to guarantee that every girl in this state and country has access to sanitary napkins in their homes, schools, and surrounding hospitals, as well as to educate them on the need of using these pads and the diseases that might arise from not wearing them. Furthermore, Chaitanya Charitable Trust wishes to educate them on the significance of Menstrual Hygiene and girl child education, as well as how periods do not have to be a barrier in women's lives in order for them to broaden their horizons. The major goal of this initiative is to raise knowledge of sanitary napkins, make them more readily available, and to recommend the correct usage and disposal of sanitary napkins during menstruation. 3. Youth Support center: In its literal sense, the initiative 'Youth Support Centre' strives to connect white-collar and blue-collar workforces with recruiters or employers in India via a uniform digital platform. In a nutshell, it meets the demands of both job searchers and opportunity suppliers in the white-collar and blue-collar employment markets, as well as any other similar work opportunity market. Youth Support Centre initiates re-thinking for white-collar and blue-collar employment and micro-entrepreneurship in India, specifically addressing the challenges of the post-pandemic new scenario with high reverse migration, apprehension, and uncertainty for job seekers. 4. Fight against COVID-19: Chaitanya Charitable Trust agreed to work with the government to raise awareness about coronavirus and recommend preventative steps that may be implemented to keep it from spreading further, with a particular focus on individuals in urban slums and rural regions who are unaware of it. 5. Green Community: Green Community is a branch of Chaitanya Charitable Trust, a renowned environmental non-governmental organization in India committed to the preservation, conservation, and improvement of Mother Nature and Humanity. Our main goal is to make the planet a greener and better place for current and future generations. We are working on several projects to correct the environmental imbalance generated by ourselves and our society as a whole. 6. Vocational Training Center: Chaitanya Tailoring College was founded in 1996, and more than 6000 girls and women have received instruction there to date. Chaitanya Tailoring College is a community-based organization that seeks to inspire urban women through sewing to become self-sufficient. The majority of girls have begun working from home and earn between Rs. 200 and Rs. 400 each day. Chaitanya's ambition is to establish ten tailoring colleges in Jamnagar's metropolitan areas.
