The UDAAN Welfare Foundation (UDAAN) is an award-winning registered non-profit organization registered with the Charity commissioner of Mumbai, Maharashtra. We presently are 30+ members with a Board of Trustees comprising nine members. The Board meets regularly to discuss and review the progress of various projects and give directions for new projects and ideas. For the last 15 years, UDAAN has been devoted to the betterment of vulnerable groups such as children, women, and senior citizens, through its four main programs: Education, Health, Nutrition & Wellness, Welfare, and the Environment. One of their most successful initiatives, the Saksham Community Centre, has been active and functioning in Azadnagar, Thane since 2015 and covers a population of more than 2,50,000 in 7+ slums nearby.
