Mission Statement
The Satsang Foundation—established by Sri M—is a meeting point for spiritual seekers of all persuasions. The Foundation actively conceptualises, organises and executes activities and initiatives that bring true reformation and change in human minds for a better, more inclusive and truly united world. The key activities of the Foundation derive from the dual intents of concern for mankind and the search for truth—helping people to explore ways and means to expand their spiritual horizons and lead a multi-dimensional life. The Satsang Foundation also extends a helping hand to the less privileged of society. Key Objectives 1.To explore the common core, principles and teachings of all religions and to cultivate the habit of living harmoniously with all sects of people. 2.To bring together serious seekers of the Truth and investigate the true essence of religious and mystical teachings. 3.To engage in charitable activities which benefit the less privileged human beings like, feeding the poor

Initiatives by The Satsang Foundation: The Satsang Foundation, based on its objectives, has contributed its mite for all-round and holistic improvement of the society. Over the years, Sri M’s efforts as a social reformer and educationist have given rise to many successful initiatives like: The Satsang Seva Misssion The Satsang Seva Mission’s primary objective is to alleviate suffering, maintain human dignity, provide re-development assistance, and address the underlying factors leading to an emergency. https://satsang-foundation.org/satsang-foundation/the-satsang-seva-mission/ EDUCATION: Satsang Vidyalaya — an initiative of The Satsang Foundation—offers free, high-quality, multi-lingual education to the low-income communities of Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Founded by Sri M in 1999 in Sugali Thanda, it started with a thatched hut with two teachers and handful of children, and has since grown into an institution of 250 children studying in Classes I – X. The English medium (Andhra Pradesh State syllabus) school has 15 teachers, 11 classrooms, a Library, a Computer Lab with Internet access, and a Science Lab. (http://satsang-foundation.org/satsang-vidyalaya/) HEALTH - Swaasthya Hospital: Sri M’s vision of providing affordable and timely secondary and holistic healthcare to rural India is taking shape in Madanapalle. Although the Satsang Swasthya Kendra (SSK) has been servicing more than 12000 out-patients annually, there is a much felt need for a free hospital providing emergency and short-term care. The Swaasthya Hospital, which is envisaged to be a 50-bed healthcare centre with a scope to expand up to 100 beds is picking up momentum.( http://satsang-foundation.org/satsang-swasthya-kendra/ ) ENVIRONMENT: MyTree is inspired by the Sanskrit word – Maitri – meaning amity. Amity conforms to the concept of Manav Ekta (oneness of humanity) propounded by Sri M, which is being implemented through the various programs of the Mission.The initiatives envisage working closely with governments, businesses and local communities to facilitate sustainable living. Satsang Jal Seva Sangatan: Inspired by Sri M’s urgent call to promote and implement Rain-Water Harvesting & Water Conservation nation-wide, the Satsang Foundation has initiated the Jal Seva Sangatan (SJSS). The aim of this initiative is to ensure that every household and institution in India recycles water efficiently. Our vision is for every Indian city to be self-sufficient for its water needs. The Sacred Grove - Centre for Exploring Conciousness At the core of this Study Centre is the spirit of Swadhayaya – Sadhana – To understand the Self. This spirit invites an enriching interaction between the inward journey and its outward expressions. ArogyaM – Wellness Centre based on Ayurveda and Yoga : the health and wellness programs are based on Ayurvedic therapies, along with Asanas and Pranayama under the supervision of doctors and yoga experts. Programs and therapies focus on the wellness of body and mind – adequate detoxification and destress, to correct the imbalance created due to one’s diet and lifestyle. They are aimed not only at relaxation and rejuvenation but also to prepare the body and mind for spiritual progress. With its origin in ancient India, the practice of Yoga can be traced back to over 5000 years ago. To preserve the heritage of our country, the curriculum at BYVK has been compiled by him, based on ancient yogic texts including Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, and Haṭha Ratnāvalī. Walk of Hope Walk of Hope is a 15-18 months long padayatra in 2015-16, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, led by Sri M, spanning 7500 kms across 11 states of India for peace, harmony and tolerance.
