The Anchorage Project is an urban, Hope Shaped Project that affirms the value of Beauty, Children, Community and Justice
About This Cause
Since 1996 we have been operating several community initiatives to articulate a strong sense of Hope to our inner city Dockland Community. This means that we have a community preschool childcare practice, as well as a community café and a community garden centre. The garden centre gives us the ideal backdrop to affirm the value of beauty, our childcare practice likewise allows us to affirm the value of children and our café provides an ideal space for affirming the value of shared community. Each year we try to use any surplus funds that we have generated through operating our café, childcare centre and garden centre to support various charitable projects in the developing world and also in Ireland and this aspect of our work helps to affirm the value of Justice.
