Mission Statement
We are a Community Childcare service who has been operating for the last 33 years. We are a registered charity, Not for Profit organization. In 1999 volunteers sourced funding to build a purpose built Community Childcare facility. In conjunction with the Donegal County Enterprise Board a submission was made to the Department of Justice Equality & Law Reform under the Childcare programme 2000-2006 part of the National Development Plan (N.D.P.). The County Enterprise Board accessed funding to build a Childcare Facility on their site; while the Childcare Centre’s Board of Directors designed and equipped the building which is leased from Donegal Enterprise Fund. The facility was opened on 3rd November 2003 as a full day Childcare Centre. Thus the Childcare Centre is established as part of the Community striving through continuous improvements to create and provide high quality childcare and education for our youngest citizens.
