Mission Statement
To support young people, children and families in County Kildare and West Wicklow to enable them to live a full and active life within their communities and society. In Sync Youth & Family Services strives towards a vision of an inclusive and just society where young people, children and families are valued as individuals and are positively engaged and supported by their communities and by wider society to reach their full potential. Our values are: Social Justice, Voluntary participation, diversity, advocacy, empowerment, ethical practice, equality, collaboration, and respect. In Sync Youth & Family Services works towards the Five National Outcomes for Children and Young people. In line with National outcome 1: “All children and young people are active and healthy with physical and mental well-being” we work to the following objectives: We deliver a range of health-related programmes, activities, and interventions in response to the health-related needs of young people, children and families. We provide opportunities for parents and children to engage in social and developmental work to strengthen the family unit and build resilience to help navigate life’s challenges. We provide a variety of interventions and therapeutic responses in relation to the metal health needs of young people, children, infants, and families ranging from promotion to intervention and post intervention, working from a strength-based approach. We provide young people, children, and their families with opportunities to benefit from their engagement in a range of pro-social activities, programmes, and events. We develop, implement and evaluate a range of health-related policies which support and guide our health-related work.
About This Cause
In Sync Youth & Family Services are leaders in the field of youth work and family service in Co Kildare and West Wicklow. Many of our partners look to us for our expertise in working closely with young people, children and families. In sync provide a wide range of youth and family services across Kildare and West Wicklow. Our approach is multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary which means we aim to offer a truly holistic and integrated service. We work collaboratively with our partners to provide solutions to the needs of young people, children and families. By putting the young people at the centre and working with their families and community, we develop creative interventions which lead to better outcomes.
