About This Cause

The Blanchardstown Center for Independent Living offer services dedicated to the support of people with disabilities who live in Dublin 15. We believe that people with disabilities should have a say in the decisions that affect them, and we provide several services to support this; 1) We provide a home maintenance service to allow people who live independently in their community to upkeep their homes. 2) We have a leader forum, A peer support group who meet to discuss common issues. 3) We provide a volunteer Befriending Service to cut down on isolation in the disability community. 4) We provide transport to people for hospital and social appointments. We have two accessible vans currently in operation. 5) We have a radio show on Pheonix fm dedicated to our service users in the Dublin 15 area to discuss topics and issues related to them. 6) Lobbying on a local and national level on issues related to disability including rights and entitlements. We are located at B.C.I.L. 2nd Floor, Parkside House, Mulhuddart Village, Dublin 15. Our contact details are: Phone 01-8270609 Email admin@bcil.ie or antoinettetierney@bcil.ie
