About This Cause
ChangeX connects people with proven ideas for strengthening communities with the resources needed to start them. We are a growing team of entrepreneurs committed to scaling proven social innovations across the world. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, we currently operate in the US, UK, and Europe with plans to expand further in 2021. In order to address the world’s biggest challenges such as climate change, isolation, loneliness, obesity or polarization we believe we need to unlock more power in local communities. We need to use technology more creatively and accelerate the spread of the best ideas along with the knowledge and the financial resources to empower community leaders to tackle issues at the local level. In 2018, backed by the UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, we committed to the goal of mobilizing 20 million new projects around the UN’s Global Goals by 2030 in order to benefit 1 billion people. We work with companies and organizations to scale innovations across themes and geographies that are important to them, ensuring funding and information is easily accessible at the community level to get these projects started. To date, 16 funding partners have scaled 80 innovations led by over 16,000 community teams that have impacted >600,000 people.
