Mission Statement
To provide a high-quality, free, anonymous, confidential, non-judgmental and non-directive crisis support listening service to students in Dublin and around Ireland.
About This Cause
We are a student-run crisis helpline in Dublin. We are run by students and for students. We provide an anonymous, confidential, non-judgmental and non-directive helpline, by phone and instant messaging, from 9 pm to 2:30 am, 7 nights a week during the college semester.' We were founded over 25 years ago by the Students Unions of Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin and have since expanded to cover 7 colleges: Dublin Business School, Maynooth University, National College of Art and Design, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Technological University Dublin, Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. We have over 100 volunteers and provide our service to a student population of over 100,000 people. Last year we took over 3,000 contacts.
