Mission Statement
LauraLynn is the ONLY hospice in Ireland for children. We provide home support, respite, crisis, and end-of-life care to children with life-limiting conditions, and support to their families.
About This Cause
We provide palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Our holistic approach to care enables us to support the whole family, allowing parents to be ‘Mum and Dad’ rather than full-time carers. We offer support for children from birth to age 18. All our care is free for families Children can be referred from anywhere in Ireland In 2014 we launched a pilot programme for LauraLynn@Home in 2 locations, to provide hospice care for children in the comfort of their own home. Our children’s palliative care is delivered through our Multi-disciplinary Team. We work in partnership with the child’s primary care team with a shared goal of ensuring a high quality Respite, Crisis, Transitional and End-of-life Care, between Hospital, Hospice and Home.
