Mission Statement
Trócaire is one of the longest established Irish overseas development agencies We work in 17 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. In 2019 Trócaire’s programme work benefited over 2.6 million people in some of the world's poorest countries.
About This Cause
We support communities in the developing world in their efforts to improve their lives, meet their basic needs and ensure their human dignity. This support is offered regardless of race, gender, religion or politics. In Ireland, Trócaire raises awareness about the causes of poverty and encourages Irish people to campaign for global change and an end to poverty as a matter of justice. We can only do what we do because of the generous support of individuals, families, parishes, schools and businesses around the world. Thank you.
