Mission Statement
The Friends Association is dedicated to raising funds and resources to support rehabilitation activities, research, renovation and expansion of treatment facilities, and the purchase of advanced equipment and technologies that are not covered by the public budget. Advancing these efforts is essential for improving the well-being and rehabilitation processes of patients at the center, as well as for promoting the field of rehabilitation in Israel as a whole.
About This Cause
Loewenstein Rehabilitation Medical Center is Israel’s leading rehabilitation center and one of the world’s top facilities in the field. Operating since 1945 as part of Clalit Health Services, Loewenstein serves as a national center of excellence, specializing in comprehensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation for patients with neurological and orthopedic injuries, spinal cord damage, traumatic brain injuries, and cognitive impairments—treating both military personnel and civilians. In addition, as part of its holistic approach, Loewenstein provides psychological, emotional, and family support to patients and their loved ones, alongside advanced, cutting-edge medical and rehabilitative care.
