CONTESTO ETS is committed to ensuring the highest level of well-being for individuals, with particular attention to children with disabilities and their families, through awareness-raising activities, promotion of autonomy, and support for life paths, respecting individual characteristics.
About This Cause
CONTESTO is an organization made up of young professionals who have chosen to dedicate their expertise and commitment to creating a new culture of inclusion, where every individual can have their right to social participation and self-determination guaranteed. The organization designs and implements activities for prevention, therapy, inclusion, training, awareness-raising, and consultancy. Most of the activities carried out by the organization aim to improve the health of children with disabilities and the quality of life of their families, through participation in pathways that follow a person-centered approach designed to support their life journeys while ensuring respect for individual characteristics and differences. Within a vision of disability as a result of the interaction between the individual and the environment, the organization simultaneously pursues actions to support autonomy for individuals and awareness-raising initiatives to enhance the community's ability to understand and embrace diverse personal profiles.
