Mission Statement
AMAria Onlus is a non-profit voluntary association which aims to concretely address the many forms of social unease that afflict the population of the historic center of the city of Naples. The Association's initiatives are primarily aimed at the inhabitants of the San Giuseppe district, the area in which the Association was born and carries out its activity, but looks with interest at every type of initiative in the city of Naples consistent with the aims for which ones arose. The Association's mission is to 'create aggregation and social cohesion', concretely affecting the livability of the neighborhood and the city, creating meeting and sharing places, merging forces, energies, knowledge and skills to realize together the dream of a neighborhood and a best city for our families and for our children.
About This Cause
Among the many activities and projects of AMAria onlus, the "Adopt a Student" project is certainly the most important. On 21 October 2019 the aforementioned Project had a further evolutionary phase: AMAria onlus finally has its own home "CASA AMAria" located in Via S.Geronimo alle Monache, 49 - NAPLES (ITALY). In these premises, the Association organizes and manages after-school activities for children/teenagers from disadvantaged families
