Mission Statement
The main purpose of the organization is to promote sociality and participation and to contribute to the cultural and civil growth of our members, as well as of the entire community. All this by carrying out cultural activities, recreational activities, entertainment, cinematographic projections, concerts and musical reviews, formative and informative events both for the members and for the entire citizenship. All the fields in which cultural, recreational and social formation experiences occur, and all those in which a civil battle can unfold against all forms of ignorance, intolerance, violence, censorship and injustice are potential sectors of intervention of Area 101. -- Lo scopo principale dell'associazione e' promuovere socialita' e partecipazione, e contribuire alla crescita culturale e civile dei nostri soci, come dell'intera comunita'. Tutto questo realizzando attivita' culturali, ricreative, di spettacolo, proiezioni cinematografiche, concerti e rassegne musicali, eventi formativi ed informativi sia per i soci che per l'intera cittadinanza. Tutti i campi in cui si manifestano esperienze culturali, ricreative e di formazione sociale, e tutti quelli in cui si puo' dispiegare una battaglia civile contro ogni forma d'ignoranza, intolleranza, violenza, censura e d'ingiustizia sono potenziali settori d'intervento di Area 101.
About This Cause
For many years AREA 101, recently transformed into APS, has carried out numerous and constant cultural initiatives of a high quality profile, always aimed at social aggregation and the dissemination of culture. Having, among other things, a structure that includes a theater and a large hall, we have consolidated over time a film festival, a series of themed evenings, cabaret, concerts, social dinners and themed conferences. -- Da molti anni AREA 101, recentemente trasformatasi in APS, ha portato avanti numerose e costanti iniziative culturali di alto profilo qualitativo, sempre volte all'aggregazione sociale ed alla diffusione della cultura. Disponendo tra le altre cose di una struttura che prevede un teatro ed un ampio salone, abbiamo consolidato nel tempo una rassegna cinematografica, una serie di serate a tema, cabaret, concerti, cene sociali e conferenze a tema.
