Mission Statement
AISM, along with is Foundation FISM, has the mission to act globally to promote, drive and finance scientific research on multiple sclerosis (MS); to promote and provide national and local services for people with MS; to represent and defend rights of people with MS.
About This Cause
The Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society, along with its Foundation (FISM), is the only organization in Italy that has been acting on multiple sclerosis at full spectrum since 50 years. AISM: •represents and reaffirms the rights of people with MS; •promotes, directs and funds scientific research of excellence; •raises awareness and informs the public about MS and the needs of people whose disease was diagnosed; •promotes and provides health and social services at local and national levels for people with MS and their families because each one deserves the guarantee of a better quality of life and social inclusion. AISM is part of the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) which includes 49 multiple sclerosis associations around the world
