About This Cause
「こどもたちのために、日本を変える」。 フローレンスは未来を担うこどもたちを社会で育むために、事業開発、政策提言、文化創造の３つの軸で、社会課題解決と価値創造を行う国内最大規模のNPO法人です。 日本初の訪問型・共済型病児保育事業団体として2004年に設立し、ひとり親支援とこどもの貧困防止、こどもの虐待や親子の孤立防止、障害児家庭支援など、日本のこども・子育ての領域で総合的な活動を行っています。 2015年度に「小規模認可保育所」として国策化された「おうち保育園」をはじめとする保育事業、障害児家庭に保育や支援を届ける「フローレンスの障害児保育・支援」、こどもの虐待問題解決のため「フローレンスのにんしん相談・赤ちゃん縁組」、こどもの貧困を解決する「こども宅食」などの取り組みを全国に広め、たくさんの仲間と共に、社会に「新しいあたりまえ」をつくることを目指しています。 Florence is one of the largest non-profit organizations in Japan. We aim to nurture children who will shape the future, as a society. We resolve social issues and engage in value creation from three aspects: business development, policy advocacy, and establishing cultural norms. Founded in 2004 as Japan's first in-home and mutual-aid sick child care organization, we engage in comprehensive activities within Japan's childrearing field such as supporting shingle parent and families with children with disabilities and preventing child poverty, child abuse, isolation of parents and children. Together with many supporters, we aim to create "new normal" in society.
